The North Carolina Head Start Association (NCHSA) is pleased to announce that the self-nomination period for NCHSA officer positions is now open.

Eligible NCHSA members who are interested in serving in a leadership role are encouraged to review the available officer positions and submit a completed Self-Nomination Form, along with all required documentation.

The self-nomination period will close at the end of business on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. All self-nomination materials must be received by the deadline to be considered during the initial nomination period.

The NCHSA Governing Board will convene for its Quarterly Board Meeting on Thursday, October 22, 2026. During the meeting, final nominations from the floor will be accepted, providing an additional opportunity for eligible individuals to be nominated for available officer positions.

Serving as an officer of the North Carolina Head Start Association provides a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and strength of the Association, support North Carolina’s Head Start and Early Head Start community, and help advance our shared commitment to advocating for children, families, programs, and communities across the state.
