NCHSA’s annual conference is devoted to all things Head Start, the annual North Carolina Head Start Conference brings the Head Start community together for a week of sharing knowledge, networking with peers, and celebrating achievements.

This event is the premier professional development gathering for the HS/EHS community, with more than 500 conference attendees are expected each year. The conference features more than 60 educational sessions, exhibit marketplace showcasing resources and products from some of the leading companies in their industry, banquet honoring scholarship and award winners from around the state, and plenty of collaboration time. This training experience is ideal for executive and mid-level management, members of governing bodies, direct service staff, as well as parents and community partners.
The North Carolina Head Start Association (NCHSA) invites you to submit a proposal for presentation at our 2023 annual conference. Our conferences provide the perfect opportunity to connect with colleagues and gain insight from noted speakers and knowledgeable presenters addressing key issues, quality initiatives, and best practices. Our training conferences are uniquely designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of the Head Start community.
Selection of proposals will be made by our T&TA team. Once a proposal has been approved, the Lead Presenter will receive notification of our decision by March 31st, 2023.

The North Carolina Head Start Association (NCHSA) represents 59 federally funded Head Start Grantees across North Carolina. This includes a Tribal (Cherokee) and Migrant programs, as well as community action, private non-profit, county government, board of education and single purpose agencies.
